Year 6 STEM day to celebrate British Science Week

On Tuesday 21st March, we celebrated science week by bringing a visitor into school. His name was Mr Swift, and he was a science teacher from Cedar Mount Academy. He brought a few chicks into school and taught us all about them and their lifecycles. He also brought a thermal imaging camera, which I thought was amazing, and he showed us what that colours mean and showed us the trapped heat. At the end of the lesson, we all got CREST awards for participating in the session. It was a truly brilliant experience.
