I am very proud of all the children who have worked exceptionally hard in their Spanish assessments this week. In particular I am very happy with UK in year 1 who incredibly achieved 100% on his Spanish assessment. The assessment focused on a range of different areas including the months of the year, pets, farm animals, colours and basic conversational language.

I am also very pleased with the progress which Rayaan in year 2 has made in Spanish this term. He has showed excellent enthusiasm and concentration during lessons and this has been shown by his excellent results in his Spanish assessment this week where he has achieved 100%.

Also last week in Spanish the whole of year 5 took part in a Spanish food taster afternoon where the hall was turned into a Spanish restaurant with traditional music and delicious food. The children had the opportunity to try a range of different Spanish foods including patatas bravas, tortillas and vegetable paella. The children absolutely loved the food and after they had finished tasting it they reviewed each of the different dishes describing what it tasted like and rating it out of 5.
