I graduated from Manchester University with an honours degree in chemistry. I went on to gain a masters degree in the Department of Chemistry and thereafter a doctorate in systems biology and nano-technology from the Department of Chemical Engineering and Analytical Science. I started my professional career working for a biotechnology company in research and development. My current interests include my role as a Stem Ambassador, a committee member for the royal society of chemistry, and a chair person for a residents association.
I am currently working as a scientific regulatory affairs project manager for the chemicals regulation directorate.
